BASIC INFORMATION
In Japan, “Iroha” is a familiar way of expressing the standard or steps of doing something like “ABC” in English. “Iroha” comes from the homonymous Japanese poem, probably written in the Middle Ages. It has been interpreted in various ways after that, and nobody can exactly get the true meaning. It may seem to be just a procedure manual, but its unfathomable depth gives you a key to living unpredictable lives. This “IROHA Exhibition” offers visitors the occasion to speculate about “Iroha” with 10 artists who have dedicated to different fields of creation.
