BASIC INFORMATION
JAGDA showcases high-quality graphic design works of Japan. Also included is a memorial exhibition dedicated to the late Shigeo Fukuda, a world renowned graphic designer who passed away in January.
"The Japan Graphic Designers Association Inc. publishes a design annual titled Graphic Design in Japan. To commemorate the launch of its 2009 edition, a total of 300 works that appear in this book, ranging from daily products, books, packages, symbols and logos, posters, and advertising to the space design of exhibitions and shops, are displayed to proudly present state-of-the-art graphic design in Japan. Also included is a memorial exhibition dedicated to the late Shigeo Fukuda, JAGDA’s past president and a world renowned graphic designer who passed away in January this year.
A series of dialogue sessions given by art directors and graphic designers are held during the exhibition period.
