BASIC INFORMATION
Tokyo Midtown Design Hub (participating organisations: Japan Institute of Design Promotion [JDP], Japan Graphic Designers Association Inc. [JAGDA], and Musashino Art University Design Lounge) will hold the 43rd exhibition, Life and Form from Now: Integration of Craft and Design, and its FutureVision", from Wednesday, 20th November to Wednesday, 25th December.
This exhibition, which features creations from craft works to corporate projects along with messages explaining the work and the creator's ideas, presents the ideas preceding the actual "creation" and the influence of changes in our social environment. The aim of this exhibition is to provide an opportunity to think about the essence of "creation" and its possibilities in the future. During the exhibition period, not only will approximately 150 items be on display, but also several talk sessions with designers, craft makers, and faculty members from Musashino Art University will be given leading the visitors into a deeper understanding of "creation."
