TAIWAN DESIGN POWER

In October 2011, design promotion organizations around the world will come together in Taiwan to hold "IDA Congress ―the World Design Conference". In 2004, Taiwan established the "Taiwan Design Center", a massive design promotion organization, which is conducting a broad range of design promotion activities such as planning of national design strategy, design awareness campaign, and human resource development.
 
The Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization has provided cooperation to the Taiwan Design Center especially in the field of human resource development. In this time's exhibition, focusing on Taiwanese design whose presence is rapidly growing stronger, we are going to introduce about 75 works which won the "Golden Pin Design Award" offered by the Taiwan Design Center sorted into 5 themes of "LOHAS Action", "Aesthetic Life", "Science Technology with Wit", "Package", and "Light in Taiwan"
