Tokyo Midtown Design Hub Special Exhibition
[Postponed] Born with flowers - Art after 3.11 -
BASIC INFORMATION
Exhibition Postoned
This exhibition was postponed due to the concerns over coronavirus. New dates will be announced on this website.
Nine years have passed since that day and 3.11 seems to have become a thing of the past. After the 3.11 disaster, our country also experienced the landslides in Hiroshima and other natural disasters.
This exhibition does not seek to overemphasize the reconstruction efforts after natural disasters, but introduces the feelings and considerations of Japanese and foreign artists who have gathered after 3.11. It focuses on 4 artists who are involved with our NPO Iwate Mirai Kiko (Iwate Future Organization), and what they have expressed regarding Iwate’s reconstruction.
The season of new sprouts and blooms comes soon after winter. Through this exhibition, we would like to express our respect and remembrance of the lives past and the new lives to come.
